No Matter What the Season - Conserve Water Everyday!

Water is our most precious resource! Everyday is an opportunity to save water every time you turn on the faucet. From kitchen, to laundry room and bathroom to your outdoor lawn and garden. Don't miss a chance to save money on your water bill and help the planet!

The City of Clarendon is currently in Stage 3 Response -- SEVERE Water Shortage Conditions

1. Limit outside watering to twice -a-week, and then before 10:00 a.m. and after 7:00 p.m. Residential customers with odd-numbered street addresses, water on Wednesday and Saturday. Residential customers with even-numbered street addresses, water on Thursday and Sunday. Commercial customers, water on Tuesday and Friday.

2. Limit washing of motor vehicles, motorbikes, boats, and other vehicles at home to before 10:00 a.m. or after 7:00 p.m. on your designated watering days. Use a bucket or hand-held hose equipped with a shut-off nozzle. Commercial car washes are exempted.

3. Avoid filling swimming pools except during your watering times and days.

4. Avoid operating ornamental fountains unless necessary to support aquatic life or if using a recirculation system.

5. Do not water-wash driveways, sidewalks, or other hard surfaced areas. Do not wash down buildings or structures except for immediate fire protection.
