Notice of Trash Pick Up

Dear Customers,
With the solid waste pick up being contracted, there have been delays with trash pick up due to maintenance issues with trucks, new driver(s), etc. Because of these delays, it has caused unusual scheduling and in some cases the driver(s) not being aware of certain dumpsters.
If your dumpster has not been picked up, please use the following link to notify the trash company of dumpster(s) not being serviced: https://www.wasteconnections.com/customer-service-missed-pick-up/
The following is also a schedule of when trash will be picked up:
Monday- Downtown and College
Tuesday- Nursing Home and Greenbelt Lake
Wednesday- West Side
Thursday- East Side
Friday- Businesses and North Side
The contractor has stated everyone will be serviced by end of week and if the company is not caught up by Friday (October 4, 2024) two trucks will be sent for the week on Saturday.
We apologize for the inconvenience the trash service has caused for our citizens, please contact City Hall at 806-874-3438 if dumpster(s) have not been picked up in a timely manner.
