LEGAL NOTICE
The City of Clarendon in Donley County ("The City") is seeking funding through a Contract award from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for a Rural Development Loan or Grant. Accordingly, the City of Clarendon is seeking to contract with a qualified engineer/engineering firm registered to practice in the State of Texas to prepare all Preliminary Engineering Reports and Environmental Assessments for public water supply development in accordance with the terms set out in the RFQ and final design plans and specifications, and to conduct all necessary interim and final inspections.
A copy of the Request for Qualifications may be obtained from the City of Clarendon, 313 S. Sully, Clarendon, Texas 79226, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.Telephone: (806) 874-3438. An electronic copy of the RFQ may also be transmitted to the interested party via email upon contacting the City Administrator, Brian Barboza, at b.barboza@cityofclarendontx.com
Proposals must be received by the City no later than 4:00 p.m. on the 7th day of June, 2024 to be considered. The City is scheduled to hold a Council meeting at 5:30 p.m. on June 13th, 2024 at City Hall and may award the contract at that time. The City reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals, engineers or firms the submit proposals, as per the Texas Professional Services Procurement Act and the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards.
