Invitation for bids

The City of Clarendon will be accepting sealed bids for the refurbishment of the interior and exterior of the G.B. Burton Memorial Library located at 217 South Kearney until 3:00 p.m.  on the 25th day of September, AT Clarendon City Hall, 313 South Sully Street, Clarendon, Texas 79226, at which time and place all bids received will be publicily opened and read aloud. Bids are invited for the following:

*Masonry work on interior and exterior of building and work to block wall and mortar joints

Specifications are available at the office of the City Administrator at City Hall, 313 South Sully Street, Clarendon, Texas 79226. Questions concerning this project shall be addressed to Brian Barboza, City Administrator, Clarendon City Hall, 313 South Sully Street, Clarendon, Texas 79226, phone- 806-874-3438, Fax- 806-874-5136 or email- b.barboza@cityofclarendontx.com. Contractors must have proof of insurance, references for similar work, and all required licenses. The City of Clarendon, Texas reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalitites in the bidding. Bids may be held by City of Clarendon for a period not to exceed thrity (30) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidders' qualifications prior to awarding of the contract. The Clarendon City Council will review bids and possibly award at the next regular meeting scheduled for October 9, 2025.
